Originally from the Philippines, Nic Yulo is an NYC-based author-illustrator with a B.A. in Fine Arts from Bryn Mawr College and an M.F.A. from Columbia University’s Film Program. Her work has received an Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Award, a Breaking Barriers Grant for Female Directors, an Adobe Design Achievement Award, and she has been recognized by the Athena Lab, New York Women in Film and Television, Adobe Top Talent, and Shondaland. Nic's debut picture book, ‘Patch of Sky’, will be published by Dial Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Random House, in the Spring of 2022.
