Kim Tomsic is the author of the award-winning book, The 11:11 Wish, The 12th Candle, and also the critically acclaimed nonfiction picture book Guitar Genius: How Les Paul Engineered the Solid Body Electric Guitar and Rocked the World! Her next picture book, The Elephants Come Home, releases with Chronicle Books in May, 2021. Kim Tomsic prides herself on being word wrangler, exclamation point enthusiast, and parallel parking champion! She was born on an American military base in Italy and has lived in various parts of the United States, making her the new-kid in many schools. Now, she is a declared extrovert and enjoys helping others connect. She loves yoga, hiking, and sunshine and spends most of her time in Arizona and Colorado.
