Christina Buhain Newhard is a designer, author, and founder of Sari-Sari Storybooks, a press devoted to publishing picture books in the many languages of the Philippines and supporting a diversity of Philippine identities for children. She hails from Manila, Florida, New York City, and Oakland, in that order.
