Born in Chicago, Maura Milan spent her childhood watching cartoons, writing about aliens, and trying to draw X-men characters. She now lives in Los Angeles, where she can be found watching Korean dramas, and hanging out with Thor, her schipperke, who she believes should become a professional comedian. Over the years, she has written and directed short films that have been shown at film festivals all over the world. Her debut novel, Ignite the Stars, was chosen as one of Publisher’s Marketplace’s Fall/Winter Buzz Books in 2018 and was selected for ALA’s Hal Clement Notable Young Adult Books List. The recently released, ECLIPSE THE SKIES, is the conclusion to the series.
